Strategic Planning

MG Planning has a strong background in the preparation of planning policies, strategic planning studies and growth area planning as well as statutory planning instruments (including LEPs and DCPs). This work involves a range of complex and often competing issues and requires high level negotiation and analytical skills to resolve.

We also have extensive experience in translating urban design studies into workable, practical statutory planning controls. Our extensive experience in the assessment and preparation of development applications assists in ensuring recommended controls are clear, unambiguous and readily assessable for the statutory planner.
