Development Advice and Appeals

We have extensive experience in providing development advice to government and the development industry to assist in development decision making. For complex sites due diligence reporting delivers real value to the development process, enabling the client to identify, avoid or minimise planning risks and other constraints to a project.

The identification of an appropriate planning approval pathway early in the development process is also of significant value to a project. The NSW planning system is difficult to navigate and often a range of planning pathway options exists for complex development projects. We are able to provide advice to clarify the appropriate planning pathway and to streamline the process to reduce risk and time delays.

We also provide expert planning advice for Land and Environment Court appeals. Helena Miller (Director of MG Planning) has acted in matters ranging from alterations and additions, to licensed premises and major development proposals. She regularly provides expert advice on behalf of both government and private sector clients. Helena is also a qualified mediator which further enhances her skills in this area.
